Costume Money Saver

Halloween is right around the corner. Its time to buy all the goodies that go along with the special day; candy , pumpkins, costumes and everything in between. Save some money this year, instead of buying a costume for thirty dollars make a costume using clothes they already have. I took an old skirt and turned it into a dress for my daughters fairy costume. You can make wings out of some wire and old pink or white tights. For a boy try taking some old jeans and a flannel shirt and turning into a scarecrow costume. Children only wear costumes once or twice so don't spend a boatload of money. Instead be creative with items you already have, and remember to have a safe and happy Halloween!!
